This site on the home prices effects of growth management is accurate. Anybody that has built their own home, especially with some sweat equity, or works with builders, knows that current prices in our area are loaded to the gills with artificial costs.

Dear CAPR Colleagues,
If you have a few minutes, you should find the site, whose link is below, of interest to at least skim. I just stumbled on it. You can obviously spend a great deal more time there. I suspect this will be old news to those of you who are already aware of all these philosophies, concepts, etc. Lots of links to articles on the failure of mass transit, failure of smart growth, correlation between high prices and smart growth, etc.
